Fi Cuts 30% Off Satellite Dog Trackers Through Oct. 25
Coupon code SCARY brings the Fi Ultra GPS collar tracker down to $209.30, matching its launch price.

Pet owners who have watched a dog slip out a gate know the particular quiet of a missing animal, and Fi is cutting the price of its answer for the next two days. The company is taking 30 percent off its pet tracker lineup through October 25 for shoppers who enter the coupon code SCARY at checkout.
The discount reaches several satellite-connected models, including the Fi Ultra GPS. That unit falls to $209.30 after the coupon, which is the price it carried when it launched. Fi describes it as the first dog tracker to pair T-Satellite with Starlink, GPS and LTE, and the device clips to a collar or harness to show a pet's location and recent movement. It carries an IP68 rating for saltwater immersion, runs up to five days on a charge depending on a dog's activity, and can emit sound or vibration to call a dog back.
The Verge tested the Fi Ultra earlier this year in a remote area of South Carolina. Location data was precise, but the tracker refreshed every two or three minutes, a delay that can matter for a fast dog. A full charge lasted barely two days in Lost Mode, and the unit's size makes it a better fit for larger dogs.
Tracking requires a paid plan. Fi sells six-month, one-year and two-year subscriptions, and the first term carries a discount. A one-year plan runs $99 for the first year and $189 for each year after that. Coverage is limited to the United States, with no satellite service in Alaska.
The sale ends October 25.
