Joy Huerta will perform alone in the United States next year, a shift from the duo format that defined her career since 2005. Her brother Jesse Huerta announced his exit from the project several weeks ago.
The tour, titled 'El amor de México,' kicks off in the US on April 9 in Denver. It will conclude on May 2 in Houston, Texas. The itinerary includes stops in at least 13 cities across the country.
New York City is not currently on the list of scheduled venues. Huerta will also spend the first month of the tour in Mexico, beginning in Toluca on February 12.
Promotional materials for the tour still display the name 'Jesse & Joy.' However, these materials include a note clarifying that Jesse Huerta will not be part of the live performances.
The duo's most recent album, 'Lo que nos faltó decir,' released in May 2025, remains their latest studio release. Huerta has not announced a new album yet. Her 2026 schedule focuses on live concerts featuring songs from that album and past hits.
