Marcus Theatres has lowered the price of domestic drafts to $5 for World Series games. The chain is pairing the discount with screenings of two documentaries about the 1982 Brewers in locations across the Milwaukee area.

Jeff Tomachek, the chain's president, noted that the company has waited 44 years for a return to the World Series. He said the theaters aim to provide a space where fans can gather, whether they are watching the current roster or reviewing past eras of Milwaukee baseball.

The food and drink discounts apply on game days at participating sites. Domestic drafts will sell for $5, while Game Time Lemonades cost $9. Medium pizzas are priced at $10, and appetizers are available for half price.

Members of the Magical Movie Rewards program can receive a free Junior popcorn. The voucher is available to those who see a film by Oct. 31. Customers can redeem the snack between Nov. 4 and Nov. 24. New users can join the program for free to qualify for the offer.

The chain will broadcast games on televisions and digital projectors in its bar and lounge areas. Participating venues include the Movie Tavern and Majestic Cinema in Brookfield, as well as the Renaissance, Menomonee Falls, North Shore, and BistroPlex locations. The Wall at Gurnee Cinema will also host a sports bar experience for fans.

Two films will return to screens during the series. The titles are UECK and Just a Bit Outside: The Story of the 1982 Milwaukee Brewers. Showings are scheduled at 10 different Marcus locations. These include sites in Ashwaubenon, Green Bay, Delafield, Appleton, Waukesha, Menomonee Falls, Sturtevant, New Berlin, Sheboygan, and Oak Creek.

The company released the schedule for the watch parties and film screenings. Tickets and specific showtimes are listed on the Marcus Theatres website and mobile app.
