Fisher to build $20M propane hub
The Riverhead project will create 64 jobs and feature a rail spur designed to lower delivery costs for East End residents.

Residents in Riverhead and the surrounding East End communities will see a new industrial facility rise at 48 Kromer Avenue this year. Frank Fisher, a local entrepreneur, is investing $20 million in the project, which is scheduled for completion soon. The site will house a 40,000-square-foot headquarters and operate as the largest propane terminal on Long Island.
The facility is designed to change how fuel reaches local homes. Fisher plans to build a rail spur into the site. This infrastructure will allow propane to be transported directly to the East End. By bypassing traditional distribution channels, Fisher aims to sell fuel at wholesale rates directly to the public. This model is intended to reduce costs for customers in the Hamptons and North Fork areas.
Fisher started his business career in 1997 with a lawn care service in Riverhead. He expanded into the waste removal industry in 2010 with the founding of Go-Green Sanitation. Since then, he has diversified his holdings into energy distribution, real estate, and small-business lending. His portfolio now includes commercial, industrial, and residential properties across the region.
The new headquarters will serve as the central hub for The Fisher Organization, which manages his property acquisitions and maintenance. The project is expected to generate 54 full-time jobs and 10 part-time positions. These roles will provide employment opportunities for local residents. The facility will also offer office and industrial space for other small businesses operating in the area.
Fisher, who was born in Riverhead and graduated from the local high school, currently lives in Westhampton Beach. He has eight other projects under construction and 11 more in the permitting process. These developments range in value from $300,000 to the new headquarters. His approach focuses on improving acquired properties and maintaining them for long-term use.
The company also includes Level Up Lending, a financial arm established to provide capital to local proprietors and investors. Fisher stated that the East End is where he lives and raises his family. He emphasized his commitment to supporting local business owners rather than relying on outside conglomerates. The new rail connection and terminal are central to his strategy of delivering value to the community.
The construction of the 40,000-square-foot building is nearing completion. Once the rail spur is operational, the site will handle fuel deliveries for the 631 Propane brand. The project represents a major private investment in Riverhead's infrastructure and workforce.
