Prelit Christmas trees hit 50% discounts in early November

Retailers are slashing prices on artificial Christmas trees by more than half in early November, urging families to buy decorations well before December. Discounts of up to 50% are currently available at major stores including Home Depot, Michael’s, and Birch Lane. These price cuts target popular prelit models that combine lighting and structure in a single product, allowing buyers to skip the installation of individual light strings. The early sales strategy aims to spread out holiday traffic and help shoppers manage budgets before the final weeks of the year.

The featured products range from full-sized firs to space-saving pencil trees. One option from Home Depot is a Costway model featuring realistic PVC leaves in a multi-toned green design. This tree includes 700 warm white LED lights and comes with two pairs of gloves to assist with assembly. The product holds a four-star average rating based on 114 customer reviews. It is positioned as an affordable alternative to the store’s more expensive Grand Duchess Balsam Fir.

At Michael’s, shoppers can find a pencil-style tree that measures compactly but includes 300 dual-color LED lights. This model uses a mix of hard-needle and PVC leaves and features lit globe bulbs for added visual effect. A foot pedal controls nine different lighting functions, including warm white and multicolor combinations. The tree has a 4.4-star average rating from 196 reviews. Michael’s offers similar prelit trees at discounts reaching 50%.

Birch Lane lists a flocked tree with a frosted finish and hinged branches for easier setup. This slim design is intended for smaller spaces but includes a full-sized feel with built-in yellow lights and a folding metal base. It holds a 4.7-star average from 425 reviews. Other discounts in the current sale include 50% off the 7.5-foot Wimberley Pine and the 7.5-foot Charlotte Spruce. A 38% discount applies to the Costway Snow Flocked Tree, while a Levit 6-foot Fir is down 32%.

The selected deals meet specific quality thresholds, requiring at least a four-star average and a minimum of 100 customer reviews. All listed items are available for both store pickup and home delivery. The discounts vary by model, with some 6-foot and 7.5-foot trees seeing reductions of 25% to 38%. These early prices are lower than typical holiday season rates, giving early shoppers a financial advantage for their decor needs.
