Samsung Japan has released the official schedule for the Android 17-based One UI 9 update, assigning specific delivery windows to forty distinct Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

The rollout began in September when the software first appeared on the Galaxy S26 series. Since then, the update has reached several previous-generation devices. The new list from Samsung Japan provides a concrete timeline for the remaining eligible hardware in that market.

The schedule covers flagship phones including the Galaxy S26, S26+, S26 Ultra, S25, S25 Ultra, S24, S24 Ultra, S24 FE, S23, and S23 Ultra. Foldable devices on the list comprise the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, and Z Flip 5.

Mid-range options include the Galaxy A57, A55, A54, A36, and A25. The tablet lineup features the Galaxy Tab S11, S11 Ultra, S10, S10+, S10 Ultra, S10 FE, S10 FE+, S10 Lite, S9, S9+, S9 Ultra, S9 FE, and S9 FE+. The roster also includes the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024), Tab A11, Tab A11+/5G, and Tab Active 5 Pro.

Samsung stated that these updates will arrive in Japan during October and November 2026. While the timing is region-specific, the list of eligible devices is expected to apply globally. The company plans to continue the global rollout beyond the Japanese schedule, with entry-level models potentially receiving the software through December and January.

The provided list is not exhaustive. It excludes the "Plus" variants of recent Galaxy S flagships and numerous Galaxy A models, particularly those sold in other regions. Samsung has not yet detailed the specific dates for these excluded devices or the global rollout timeline.

The update brings the Android 17 base to the listed hardware. Samsung will continue to release the software to other regions in the coming months. The specific dates for the Japanese market serve as the primary reference point for the global deployment sequence.
