Space 2 Headphones Drop to $106.49

Shoppers looking for affordable audio gear can buy the Soundcore Space 2 headphones for $106.49 starting today. The discount of $23 applies to all three color options and is available at Amazon, Best Buy, and Walmart. This marks the lowest price recorded for the device since its release.

The price cut reduces the gap between the new model and its predecessor. The Space One launched in 2023 at a lower list price, making the Space 2 initially $30 more expensive. The current sale brings the cost closer to that original figure while offering upgraded hardware.

The Space 2 improves on the active noise cancellation found in the first generation. The new design better suppresses low-frequency sounds, such as those generated by trains and airplane engines. Soundcore also adjusted the internal components to provide more accurate sound reproduction compared to the original Space One.

Key features from the previous model remain in the updated version. The headphones support high-resolution LDAC audio and include HearID 3.0. This software personalizes the listening experience by analyzing user responses to a series of audio samples and adjusting the output accordingly.

Battery performance has increased significantly. With active noise cancellation enabled, the Space 2 lasts up to 50 hours, an increase from the 40 hours provided by the Space One. When noise cancellation is off, the runtime extends to 70 hours, up from the previous 55 hours.

The device includes a 3.5mm jack for wired use if the battery depletes. It also features automatic pause functionality when removed from the head, allowing users to resume playback at the exact point of interruption.

The Verge identified the Space 2 as a strong recommendation due to its enhanced noise cancellation and sound quality. The current price of $106.49 is lower than any previous listing, though it remains $30 higher than the launch price of the Space One.
