New York Giants fans holding futures tickets have seen little financial movement despite a strong start to the 2026 season. At DraftKings Sportsbook, the team’s odds to win the Super Bowl shifted from 70/1 to 65/1 since the season began. For a team now leading the NFC, that minimal adjustment has drawn attention from bettors looking for value.

The Giants sit atop the NFC standings with a 4-2-1 record following their bye week in Week 9. They return to action against the Philadelphia Eagles, a team with a losing record. New York is the odds-on favorite to win the NFC East, a position attributed by analysts to head coach John Harbaugh’s leadership and the struggles of the division’s other three teams.

Harbaugh has emerged as the betting favorite for the NFL Coach of the Year award at +225. His impact is visible in the defense, which allows the third-fewest passing yards per game at 184.9. Under secondary coach Dennard Wilson, the Giants have forced a three-and-out on 32.9 percent of opponent drives, a rate that leads the league. This defensive strength compensates for the season-ending injury to Brian Burns.

The offense has stabilized despite a major setback in Week 2, when Jaxson Dart tore his MCL and was sidelined for the year. J.J. McCarthy has stepped in as the starter, posting a 95.2 passer rating. He has developed chemistry with wide receiver Malik Nabers, who is approaching his second 1,000-yard season in three years. The rushing attack has also been productive, with the team scoring at least 27 points in four straight games, a streak not achieved since 2010.

The team’s performance in close games marks a sharp departure from last season, when they finished 1-7 in tight matchups. This year, the Giants secured late-game and overtime victories against the Arizona Cardinals and the Houston Texans. In Week 7, the backfield generated 188 rushing yards on 34 carries in a 27-21 overtime win over Houston, with Cam Skattebo, Devin Singletary, and Tyrone Tracy Jr. all scoring touchdowns.

The Giants must still face the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Detroit Lions. Oddsmakers have noted that New York’s four wins so far have all come against opponents with losing records. In the NFC Championship market, the Giants are listed at 27/1 to win the conference.
